Settlement Consultant

Roland Gonzalez, a native of South Texas, graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006, double-majoring in Political Science and History. Thereafter, he chose to broaden his life experience by pursuing a Master of Arts in Religious Studies at Southern Seminary and a Master of Arts in Philosophy at King's College, the University of London. While completing those degrees, Roland further deepened his beliefs in valuing people, time, and serving the greater good.

Prior to joining Sage Settlement Consulting, Roland was a settlement consultant with The Settlement Alliance. Roland also had a successful career at Morgan Stanley, where he specialized in the areas of portfolio analysis, risk management and financial planning. Some best practices that distinguished Roland from his peers were providing a holistic perspective, putting clients first, and doing the right thing.

Ultimately, these skills and values led Roland to the settlement planning industry where he truly found his calling. Leveraging the vast resources, expertise, and experience of Sage Settlement Consulting, Roland is well-positioned to assist legal professionals and claimants both through and after the settlement process.

Roland currently resides in McAllen, Texas with his wife Megan, their son Trey, and their daughter Bethany. He is a devoted member of the Church, and he also sits on various boards pertaining to faith and philanthropy. In his spare time, Roland enjoys playing golf, traveling with his family, and teaching at his local parish.
