ANDY JOHNSON

Andy Johnson brings a strong foundation in the legal field, shaped by early exposure to the strategic and financial aspects of legal outcomes. This perspective led him to settlement consulting, where he helps individuals navigate complex post-litigation decisions and structure outcomes that promote long-term stability.

Before joining Sage Settlement Consulting, Andy gained experience across finance, policy, and entrepreneurship. He worked as a Policy Analyst at Mehlman Consulting in Washington, D.C., supporting client strategy through legislative research and economic analysis, and as a Growth Strategy Intern at Echo Chunk, focusing on marketing initiatives and strategic planning.

Andy is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he has earned academic honors. While there, he competes on the collegiate chess team, holds a 2100 rating, and teaches chess to youth. He has also taken on leadership as a founding member of UCLA’s Pi Kappa Alpha chapter and is actively involved in Startup Village UCLA.

Outside of his professional work, Andy remains deeply engaged in his community. He serves as President of the Harmonic Youth Orchestra, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding performance opportunities for young musicians and has been recognized as a Remarkable Futures Scholar and recipient of the Platinum Community Service Award.

In his free time, Andy enjoys playing sports, traveling with friends, and having thoughtful conversations on a wide range of topics.
