Richard Schriefer

Richard Schriefer is a settlement consultant at Sage, where he works closely with personal injury attorneys and their clients to create individualized structured settlement plans. He is also a Partner and Managing Director with Aprio Wealth Management, LLC, where he advises executives, business owners, and other high net worth individuals.

With 20+ years of experience in the financial industry, Richard specializes in asset management, financial planning, tax planning, and risk management-based insurance solutions, including life, disability, and long-term care insurance. His financial planning background, coupled with his knowledge of structured settlement annuities, helps injured claimants preserve their personal injury, wrongful death, and malpractice settlements.

Richard earned a bachelor’s degree in business at St. John’s University and a Retirement Planning Specialist Certificate from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds life/health insurance registrations in 35+ states. He is a proud sponsor of the New York State Trial Lawyer Association (NYSTLA).

Outside of work, Richard enjoys cooking for his wife and his three daughters. He is an avid fan of the New York Rangers and the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
